Hello, I’m Ros. I’m an integrative counsellor working with adults, teenagers and young people who are navigating change, uncertainty or emotional difficulty.
Whether you're facing a major transition, feeling overwhelmed, or simply need a space to talk and be heard, I offer calm, steady support to help you reconnect with yourself and what matters to you.
Helping you navigate life’s turning points—with empathy, insight and real-world experience.
My journey into counselling began in 1996. At the time, I was living and working overseas, which made it difficult to follow a traditional UK counselling path—but my commitment to helping others never wavered.
Over the years, I’ve worked in diverse settings—from schools and prisons to Embassies and voluntary organisations like the Samaritans—often supporting people during moments of stress, loss, or uncertainty. In 2004, I was honoured to receive an MBE for my work overseas. This experience deepened my commitment to compassionate service and helped shape the way I work with clients today.
I later returned to the UK to complete formal training and qualifications. I am now a fully qualified counsellor and hold an MSc in Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing. I am a registered member of the BACP and an Accredited Registrant of the NCPS and I continue to develop professionally through ongoing training.
I bring both lived and learned experience into my counselling work—offering empathy, honesty and care in equal measure. Whether you're facing change, crisis or simply need a space to be heard, I offer a calm and steady presence to support you.
You might be considering counselling if:
Whatever brings you here, you’re not alone. I offer a calm, welcoming space where we can work together to make sense of what’s happening and find a way forward.
I’m an integrative counsellor, meaning I tailor my approach to you. At the heart of my work is a person-centred foundation—where your experience leads the way, and you’re met with warmth, presence and non-judgement.
In addition to traditional talking therapy, I can also draw on:
Hypnotherapy – for anxiety, habits and change
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) – a gentle, tapping method to regulate emotions
TRiM (Trauma Risk Management) – an evidence-based model for post-trauma support
We’ll work together to find the pace, tools, and direction that suit you best.

Making space to reflect, re-prioritise, and move forward
Change can bring growth—but it can also bring uncertainty.
Transitions—whether chosen or unexpected—can unsettle our identity and sense of stability.
I’ve lived through many of these myself. From international moves to career retraining, I know how disorienting—and transformative—change can be.
In our work together, we’ll make space for both the uncertainty and the possibility of what comes next.
If you're curious about counselling or wondering whether it’s right for you, I’d be happy to talk.
We can arrange an initial session or have a brief conversation to explore whether working together feels like a good fit.
While I do offer face-to-face appointments, I primarily work online via secure video sessions. This format offers greater flexibility and continuity, especially during times of travel, illness, or other life demands — making it easier for you to maintain progress without disruption.

Face-to-face sessions: £70
Each counselling session lasts 50 minutes.
